CTP Workshops

We are delighted to offer various workshops designed specifically for Children & Teens throughout the school year. These workshops vary in length and level and are designed for students who wish to augment their CTP curriculum or for those who cannot commit to our 32 week program.

Intro to Hip-Hop focuses on the basic fundamentals of the popular urban cultural style of dance.

Intro to Jazz introduces and familiarizes the student with basic jazz terminology and creates a foundation of the basic jazz movements including positions, across the floor work and flexibility.

Pre Ballet is a one-hour class that introduces both movement and rhythm in a fun, nurturing environment. Basic Ballet positions are taught as well as body awareness.

Acting in Dance is designed to link acting skills to dancing. Games, improvisations and technique exercises will be used to teach students acting basics. Focus will be placed on using movement to express and tell a story. Styles will include theater, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical/ballet.

Parent Classes are offered to the parents of Children & Teen Program students on Saturday and Sunday. These fun, low-stress classes are offered in various dance styles and taught by BDC faculty! Classes are $12 and participants may sign-up on the day of the class. Schedule coming soon!
