Ginger Cox earned her BFA in Dance, from Temple University and has been teaching dance to all levels of students for over a decade. On faculty at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Ginger has taught for the Joffrey Contemporary Jazz Program, under the Direction of Dorrell Martin, the Alvin Ailey Arts/Education Program, The University of the Arts,The PULSE On Tour Teacher’s Workshops and as a guest teacher for conventions throughout the USA. She’s taught abroad in Luxembourg, Paris, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico and Japan. Her teaching was described as innovative and inspiring in Australia’s Dance Train Magazine.
Ginger choreographed for NIKE SHOX, the NJ Nets Dancers, Collaborative Movement Dance Company and was one of 10 chosen to present work in the Élan Awards, honoring Mr. Lar Lubavich. She is the Artistic Director of LiNK! the Movement dance company; a multidimensional company that presents an electrifying repertoire without borders. Her choreography in LiNK has been quoted as “Absorbing,” and “inventive,” with “Amusing Creativity.” LINK has performed with recording artist Lijie, in the NuDance Festival, WaxWorks, Choreographers Canvas, the 60X60-collaboration with musicians, the Pushing Progress Artist Showcase, DRA Remember Project, and the Independent film Reflections, to name a few. LiNK has also self-produced with a collaboration of Artists.
As a performer Ginger appeared several times on "Saturday Night Live" with Molly Shannon and Jimmy Falon, at Radio City Music Hall with Lou Bega, with recording artist Hannah Jones, Hiroko and in Industrials for Sony, Smith Klein Beechum., Shiseido. While living in Japan she danced and choreographed in the Hanayashiki show and several Japanese industrials. Ginger has contributed for articles in Dance Teacher Magazine, Dance Spirit and JazzPulsions, France’s jazz dance magazine. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters in Movement Science and Rehabilitation.
